If you're running Custobar alongside a Shopify store, you've probably seen the official Custobar Connector app — it syncs customers, orders and products straight over the API. For most stores, that's all you need.

But sometimes a straightforward product feed is simpler: you're already generating feeds for other channels, you don't want to install a second heavyweight connector, or you specifically want to use Custobar's Google Product Feed import rather than the full data-sync app. Custobar supports pulling product data directly from a feed URL, the same way it would from Google Shopping.

What's in the feed

Unlimited Feed's XML and CSV feeds include a field built specifically for this: custom_label_6, which carries the first variant ID of each product — useful when you need to match feed rows back to a specific Shopify variant rather than just the parent product.

How to set it up

  1. Generate your feed. In Unlimited Feed, create an XML or CSV feed of your catalog (all products or a specific collection).
  2. Copy the feed URL. It stays live and updates automatically as your store changes.
  3. Add it to Custobar. In Custobar, use the Google Product Feed import option and paste in the feed URL.

That's it — no second app to install, and the feed keeps itself in sync the same way it does for your other ad channels.

One honest note

This is a supplement to Custobar's own connector, not a replacement for it — the official app still handles customer and order data, which a product feed can't do. This is specifically for teams who want product data available as a plain feed URL rather than through the full connector.
