Running a Black Friday sale or an outlet collection? Generate a separate product feed for just that collection, without touching your full catalog.
Say you're running a Black Friday sale on one collection, or you've got a dedicated Outlet section you want to advertise separately from your full catalog. Submitting your entire store to Google or Facebook for a campaign like that doesn't make sense — you just need a feed of those specific products.
Why a separate feed matters here
A campaign feed limited to one collection means your ad budget and product data are focused on exactly what you're promoting — not diluted across your whole catalog. It also keeps your always-on "full catalog" feed untouched, so a time-limited sale doesn't interfere with your regular Shopping campaigns.
How to do it
- Create the collection in Shopify (if you haven't already) — Black Friday Sale, Outlet, New Arrivals, whatever fits.
- Generate a feed for it in Unlimited Feed. Instead of picking "all products," choose the specific collection.
- Get its own feed URL. This one is separate from your full-catalog feed and only contains that collection's products.
- Point your campaign at it. Submit it to Google Merchant Center, Meta, or ChatGPT Ads just like any other feed.
You can run as many of these as you like — a Black Friday feed, an Outlet feed, and your regular full-catalog feed, all live and updating automatically at the same time, each with its own URL.
